Ariel Pellman is a Brooklyn based multi-disciplinary artist, designer and teacher with more than a decade of experience in the theatrical costume industry. She has taught Costume Design at CUNY York College, designed and executed theatrical protest actions in service of defending abortion rights and access, and worked with such designers as Paul Tazewell (Hamilton, West Side Story film), Constance Hoffman, Aiko Ishioka (Spiderman turn off the Dark, Bram Stoker’s Dracula) and Toni Leslie James (Come from Away, The Scottsboro Boys).
